Hi there! Hope you all have been enjoying the holidays 🙂 Between all the family time and great shopping, it’s hard to keep track of the time. I promise going forward I’m going to setup the TGIF tips to automatically post at a decent time on Fridays. Today’s tip comes after working a long day at a MAC store and having to tell multiple people this trick on how to get the most out of your mascara.

Wiggle your mascara wand from side to side as you work it on your lashes from base to tip. It yields the most even, clump-free coat. Just try this once, and believe me you’ll be doing it every time.

Other pointers for maximizing your mascara experience are:

1) Prep your lashes with a mascara primer. It’ll help beef up your lashes and prevent your mascara from running.

2) Coat the top side of your lashes first, and then the underside. Will create a more dense lash.

3) Don’t forget about the bottom lashes! Use the tip of the wand to coat them with vertical strokes.
