It’s smelling like Fall…

Hello there!

It’s starting to feel a lot more like Fall here in NY/NJ. A few weeks ago we seemed to be having a heatwave, but it’s finally started to cool down. The crispness in the air, the smell of wood burning chimneys, the beautiful changing colors, Halloween… don’t you just love fall?! Cuz I sure do! I would say that I wish Fall could be all year long, but then it probably wouldn’t feel as special as when it comes for 2-3 months out of the year.

Good thing I’ve found a scent at Bath & Body works that I can use all year long to remind me of my favorite season: New England Autumn Bouquet

I couldn’t quite figure out what fragrant notes were in this, as it’s warm and floral – but not flowery if that makes any sense. According to Bath & Body’s description, it has: red New England mums and spiced apple leaves blended with cloves. I just put some on and I swear I can’t stop sniffing my hands. I was pleasantly surprised that the scent lasts about an hour until it fades away. And, unlike many hand sanitizers, it’s actually moisturizing and not drying at all!

I am so grateful to my friend Nicole – I loved the scent on her, and she got it for me the next day! I wish it came in a fragrance, or room fragrance spray, but alas it only comes in soap and hand sanitizer. It must be really popular, because online the soap is sold out. If you love fall but don’t like spicy scents – or are just looking for a great smelling hand sanitizer, trust me – this is $1.75 well spent!

In case you’re interested in other fall-related things, here are some pics from the great time I had Punkin’ Pickin’ with my family over the weekend!

Do you have any favorite Fall scents? I’d love to hear about them!
