Hi there! With winter in full swing, today’s TGIF tip is how to update your makeup look with the changing season.
“Switch over to a more muted blush color for the fall. Shelve your coral, pink and red blushes in favor of a cooler toned one.”
While it totally depends on your overall makeup look, peachy pinks, corals and bronzy shades usually look better with a bit of a tan. Since we lose color in the winter months, plums, berries and mauves are more flattering.
On my NC37 skin I find that cooler toned blushes look better on me in the winter vs warm tones when I am more tanned. So for the winter I switched over to Fetish, a cooler dusty pink toned blush, while in the summer I preferred Bang, a reddish orange tone.
I swear sometimes girls wear blush that makes them look like they got slapped in the face lol. So avoid a possible blush blunder and take my advice with today’s tip.
What blush are you wearing these days? Comment below, I’d love to know!
