Hi there! With it officially feeling like fall today, I figured it would be a great day to do a #manimonday post for a new favorite Fall-hued polish. The color is OPI’s Sprung, which was a part of the 2013 Mariah Carey collection. Though it’s discontinued, it’s still available on amazon.
It caught my eye while I was waiting on line for the register (darn those impulse items!) I definitely didn’t need another nail polish, but I just couldn’t resist. Let me show you why:
It’s a coppery shimmer that has flecks of pink. It reflects a spectrum of the most beautiful fall shades of copper, brown, gold, pink and orange. It’s like a fall-foliage colored disco ball on my nails. And, depending on how many coats you use, you can build up your desired intensity. I found it to be fully opaque at 3 coats. It dried smooth and hard, and last a week with a topcoat. It’s truly a unique addition to my collection, because of its extremely rich multi-facetedness. I used my favorite traffic stopper copper for an accent nail, which I’ve obsessed I mean written about here 🙂
Would you wear this shade? I personally loved the color, and because it reflects alot of orange, I think I’ll like it even more when my skin has lost its summer tan. Let me know which colors you’ll be sporting on your nails this Fall!
