Hi There!

Yesterday on Instagram I shared a picture of the awesome brush display for IT cosmetics at Ulta.

It was made up of kabuki brushes! It definitely wow-ed me as it appealed to the graphic designer and makeup artist in me. Well from that visit,

I also wanted to share the goodies we scored on our shopping trip.

My husband needed to restock on his favorite hair cream, Redken for Men Get Groomed Finishing cream. We lucked out because all styling products are buy 2, get one free at Ulta this week! So I’d definitely check it out if you need to stock up on some hair products. This is my husband’s holy grail hair cream, and we would’ve bought even more – but these 3 were all they had in stock. Maybe if there’s interest, I can have him do a review of this product.

I love going to Ulta because it’s fun to see the new stuff that pops up, and the fact that they always have cool sales and promotions. I happened to come across an endcap of the extended Essence line (all I’ve usually seen is a picked over shelf of lipstains and eyeliner). I’d always wanted to try the Essence gel liner, and I finally found it! I’ve heard it’s the best drug store one out there, so I can’t wait to give it a try.
