#waybackwednesday I can’t believe today marks exactly a year since I took the Dress Your Face master workshop in NY.
At the time I didn’t know if it was worth the splurge, and the inconvenience of arranging to leave work early and drive an hour from the city.
It ended up being such a great investment as learning her little tips and tricks have made such difference in the quality of my work. I focus much more now on the skin, and on camera it really does look like real life photoshop! So many instagram makeup artists are popping up these days because they can filter the crap out of their photos. I love that I can post my pictures as 100% original, with no editing or filtering!
Also, because of the amazing goody bag I got from the show, I tried LA girl, Anastasia and Violet Voss products for the first time! MIND. BLOWN.
Besides the technical things you learn from a makeup class, I left this one feeling truly inspired. To not just be a better artist, but run a smarter business. Tamanna is a really smart business woman going from artist to educator and now her retail products (the Anastasia palette, Bombay hair styling set, hair extensions to come). I even take her online classes now, and have benefited so much from them.
Does anyone else take her classes? I’d love to know what you think of them!
